Solution

Given:
Length (l):height (h)=5:2......(1)
Height (h):width (w)=4:5......(2)
Multiply by 2 in equation (1),
Length (l):height (h)=5×2:2×2=10:4.......(3)
Combining equation (3) and (2), we get
l:h:w=10:4:5
Let length =10x, width =5x, and height =4x.
Given, area of the four walls of a room =108 sq m
2(l+w)h=108
(l+w)h=54
(10x+5x)4x=54
60x2=54
x2=5460

Floor area of the room =l×w=10x×5x=50x2
=50×5460=45 sq m
