Given:
Number of ice cream scoops required = 25
Base price = $0.95
Total budget = $26.25
Let the original cost of frosting be x.

We know,
Number of ice cream scoops × (Cost of ice cream scoop + Cost of frosting) = Total budget

25 × (0.95 + x) = 26.25

2525(0.95 + x) = 26.2525
0.95 + x = 1.05
x = 0.10

New cost of frosting = 0.10 + 0.20
= $0.30

Let y be the number of ice cream scoops after the increase in frosting price.

So,
y × (0.95 + 0.30) = 26.25
y × 1.25 = 26.25
y = 21

Number of ice cream scoops that fall short
