The total cost of flooring a room at rupees 50 per CM square is 2600 if the length of the room is 10 M find its breadth

Open in App
Solution

Area of the room=length * breadth=l*b

Given that,

Cost of flooring per square metre =50 rupees.
Total cost of flooring of room = 2600 rupees

Therefore total area= total cost/ cost per CM

=2600/50=52 cm sq.

i.e area=l*b=52
therefore b=52/ length
= 52/1000
= 0.052 cm

Hence breadth of the room is 0.052 cm
