The total revenue in Rsreceived with the sale of x units is given by,

R( x )=13 x 2 +26x+15

Marginal revenue is the rate of change of total revenue with respect to the number of units sold.

The marginal revenue is MR.

According to the given condition,

MR= dR( x ) dx = d dx ( 13 x 2 +26x+15 ) =26x+26 (1)

Substitute the value of x as 7 in equation (1).

MR=26x+26 =26×7+26 =208

Thus, the marginal revenue of 7 units produced is Rs 208.
