Solution

The correct option is A 3,166 cm2

Curved surface area of a frustum cone = π(r + R)s ?

Total surface area of a frustum of cone = π(r + R)s + πr2 + πR2 3,250 cm2

Smaller circle area = πr2 36 cm2

Larger circle area = πR2 48 cm2

Therefore,
SA = π(r + R)s + πr2 + πR2

3,250 = Curved surface area + 36 + 48

3,2503648=Curved surface area

Curved surface area of a frustum cone = 3,166 cm2
