Total of speed of 10 motorists=47+53+49+60+39+42+55+57+52+48=502

$M e a n = ¯ (x) = \frac{T o t a l s p e e d}{10} = \frac{502}{10} = 50.2 k m / h E r r o r i n r e c o r d i n g = 5 k m / h r l e s s ∴ A c t u a l m e a n s p e e d = 50.2 + 5 = 55.2 k m / h$
