The transfer of pollen grains to the stigma of the flower is called
Pollination
Pollination is the transfer of pollen grains to the stigma of the flower. Sexual reproduction is the formation of a new individual following the union of two gametes. The process of fusion of the male and the female gamete is called fertilisation. This results in the formation of a zygote. Asexual reproduction is a type of reproduction by which offspring arise from a single organism, and inherit the genes of that parent only; it does not involve the fusion of gametes. Budding is a form of asexual reproduction in which buds are formed in the parent body. When it grows it separates itself from the parent body and develops into a new organism.
