The distance between points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is given by (x2x1)2+(y2y1)2
AB=(2a2a)2+(6a4a)2=0+4a2=2a
BC=(2a+3a2a)2+(5a6a)2=3a2+a2=2a

And AC=(2a+3a2a)2+(5a4a)2=3a2+a2=2a
Thus, AB=BC=CA

Hence ABC is an equilateral triangle.
