Milk produced by the cells of alveoli and is stored in the lumen of alveoli which opens into a common tubule called mammary tubule.
Mammary ampulla
Mammary ampulla is formed by the joining of multiple mammary ducts and opens into a lactiferous duct.
Lactiferous duct
Lactiferous duct is the largest duct present in the mammary glands which collects milk from all the mammary lobes and releases it out of the mammary glands.
