Solution

The correct option is D Ti plasmid
Agrobacterium tumefaciens has a plasmid called as Ti Plasmid. The name Ti is derived from the tumor inducing gene found in the plasmid. Since this bacteria infects plants, the plasmid was found to be useful in trasfering genes of interest into host organism. The modified plasmid would be devoid of the tumour inducing gene and instead the gene of interest is added in the place of it.
