$P e r i m e t e r o f r e c t a n g l e = 2 \times (S u m o f a d j a c e n t s i d e s)$
$= 2 \times ((6 a + 9 b) + (8 a - 4 b))$
$= 2 \times (14 a + 5 b)$
$= 28 a + 10 b$
