  1. Isotopes are atoms having same number of protons and electrons, but different number of neutrons.
  2. Isotopes Carbon (C612),C613,C614 have same number of electrons as protons in them.
  3. Each isotope of carbon has 6 protons so it will also have 6 electrons.
  4. Hence, it's similar in the way of having the same atomic number.
