The correct option is C spin
K shell being the first principal shell, represents the value of principal quantum number, n = 1.

For n = 1, the only possible values of angular momentum quantum number and magnetic quantum number are l = 0 and ml = 0 respectively.

According to Pauli's exclusion principle, no two electrons in the same atom can have all the same four quantum numbers.
As the first three quantum numbers in the K shell are same for both the electrons, the spin quantum number must differ.
If for one electron
ms= +1/2 and for the other electron it must be ms= -1/2.
