They are found in the lining of stomach and intestine and help in secretion and absorption. Squamous Epithelial cells flattened cells with irregular boundaries. Cuboidal cells are cuboidal in shape and a round nucleus is seen at the centre. Transitional epithelium is 2-6 cell in thickness without a basement membrane.
