The United Nations have 5 permanent members in its Security Council who can veto the ideas of the other countries. This isn't democratic. Why does the UN ask other countries to support Democracy if the UN itself isn't?

This institution has become a property of few nations having veto.It is mostly run on their money.It is not working on the principles of democracy .Saying others to follow the democratic principles is a mockery with the system of democracy.Iif this institution has to work fairly then every nation should be given equal rights of voting.
