Solution
The correct option is A Palisade The tissue which is found in the leaves of the plants is called as the mesophyll tissue which are classified into two types in the leaves of dicot plants. There are tall and pillar-like cells of parenchyma which contain high amount of chloroplasts are known as palisade parenchyma. These cells are arranged compactly near the upper epidermis. The presence of these cells give the upper epidermis a darker green colour. There are loosely arranged spongy parenchyma cells near the lower epidermis with less number of chloroplasts which gives the lower epidermis light green colour.
