Reasons for Diesel to be used as fuel

1. Diesel is easily available and economical in comparison to other energy sources.
2. It does not produce ash after combustion.
3. The calorific value of diesel is high.

Reasons for banning diesel

1. It was observed that the cost to the environment is much higher when compared to the easy and inexpensive nature of the fuel.
2. The extraction of diesel from crude oil also causes a lot of pollution.

CNG as an ideal fuel:

1. CNG does not produce hydrocarbon as compared to diesel or petrol fuel.
2. It is widely available and reasonably priced.
3. It burns at a consistent and controlled rate.
