Solution

a. Zinc Phosphate:

  1. Chemical symbol of Zinc is Zn and charge is 2+.
  2. Chemical formula of Phosphate is PO43- and charge is 3-.
  3. The chemical equation is shown below.
    Zn2++PO43-Zn3(PO4)2
  4. Hence, chemical formula of Zinc phosphate is Zn3(PO4)2.

b. Nitrogen oxide:

  1. Chemical symbol of Nitrogen is N and charge is 3+.
  2. Chemical symbol of Oxygen is O and charge is 2-.
  3. The chemical equation is shown below.
    N3++O2-N2O3
  4. Hence, chemical formula of Nitrogen oxide is N2O3.

c. Sodium phosphate:

  1. Chemical symbolof Sodium is Na and charge is 1+.
  2. Chemical formula of Phosphate is PO43- and charge is 3-.
  3. The chemical equation is shown below.
    Na++PO43-Na3PO4
  4. Hence, chemical formula of Sodium phosphate is Na3PO4.

d. Lead bromide:

  1. Chemical formula of Lead is Pb and charge is 2+.
  2. Chemical formula of Bromide is Br and charge is 1-.
  3. The chemical equation is shown below.
    Pb+2+Br-PbBr2
  4. Hence, chemical formula of Lead bromide is PbBr2.
