The correct option is A 26
First we solve 23+(14)
As both integers have different signs, we will take following steps to solve:
Step 1: Write the absolute values of both integers
|23|=23 & |14|=14.

Step 2: Subtract both the absolute values
2314=9

Step 3: Put the original sign of the larger number to the difference. 23+(14)=9

Given question is (-23 + 14 ) +(-17)
Replace -23 + 14 with - 9 , as solved above
(-23 + 14 ) + (-17) = -9 + (-17)

Then add the two integers 9 and 17.
Since both integers are of same sign,

Step 1: Write the absolute values of both integers
|9|=9 & |17|=17

Step 2: Add both the absolute values
9+17=26

Step 3: Put the original sign of both integers to the sum
(9)+(17)=26

Hence, the value of 23+(14)+(17) is 26.
