Divisor = 38
Here, we have to round off 2840 and 38 to the nearest hundreds and tens respectively.

To round off a number to the nearest hundreds, if tens digit is less than 5, then tens and units digits will be replaced with 0 and hundreds digit will remain same.

In 2840, tens digit is 4 which is less than 5.
So, 2840 will be rounded off to 2800.

To round off a number to the nearest tens, if units digit is greater than or equal to 5, then units digits will be replaced with 0 and tens digit will be increased by 1.
