To multiply -3 by -2, we have to move 3 units in an opposite direction, but -2 is an opposite number, so shift 3 units 2 times in a positive direction on a number line

Then two curves represent the two number of shifts in a positive direction of 3 units. So, we arrived at 6 on a number line

$∴$ Answer = $6$
