Finding the value of k :

Let g(x)=sinx,h(x)=1x then f(x)=goh(x)=g(h(x)

If g(x) and h(x) are both continuous at x=0, then goh(x) is continuous at x=0 so f(x)=goh(x) is continuous at x=0 .

But here we see that h(x)=1x is not defined at x=0 so not continuous at x=0 .

Therefore f(x)=sin1x is not continuous at x=0 for any value of k.

Hence option (D) is the correct answer .
