The value of $x$ and $y$, if $\frac{1}{x-2y}=\frac{1}{3}$ and $\frac{1}{x+2y}=\frac{1}{7}$ is 5,1 respectively.Is it true ?If true enter 1 else 0.

$\frac{1}{x-2y}=\frac{1}{3}$ --- (1)

$\frac{1}{x+2y}=\frac{1}{7}$ ---(2)

$⟹$

$x-2y=3$ --- (1)

$x+2y=7$ ---(2)

$2x=10$

$\therefore x=5$

On substituting the value of $x$ in equ $1$.

$5-2y=3$

$5-3=2y$

$\therefore y=1$

so given statement is true.
