Bahadur Shah Zafar, Mangal Pandey, Rani Lakshmibai, Begum Hazrat Mahal, Nana Sahib, Liyakat Ali,Tatya Tope, Kunwar Singh, Bhakt Khan and Khan Badur Khan Rohilla were the main leaders of the revolt of 1857 in India .They showed exemplary courage by resisting the unjust rule of Britishers either by laying down their lives or giving a stiff fight to the British army.By resisting the unjust rule with their power though smaller than Britishers showed their courage ,their love for the land ,self respect by laying down their lives etc.
