As we know that relation between potential and electric field is given by

E=dVdr

So the regions where dV=0 or V is constant, gives E=0

Apply above concept on different parts of the graph. So,

for region AB,

dV=VBVA=2010=10 V and

dr=rBrA=0(2)=2 m

E=dVdr=102=5 V/m

Similarly, for region BC and EF,

dV=0

E=dVdr=0

For region CD,

dV=10 V and dr=1 m

E=dVdr=101=10 V/m

Similarly, for region DE

E=5 V/m

Only option (b) satisfy above calculated value.

So, option (b) is correct.
