Let $\theta$ be the angle between the two vectors.

Then according to the problem,

$|\overrightarrow{a}||\overrightarrow{b}|\sin \theta =\sqrt{3}|\overrightarrow{a}||\overrightarrow{b}|\cos \theta$

or, $\tan \theta =\sqrt{3}$

or, $\theta ={60}^o$.
