Velocity of a transverse wave in a string of tension $T$ and mass per unit length $\mu$ is $\sqrt{\frac{T}{\mu }}$.

Here $\mu =\frac{m}{l}=\frac{0.06kg}{2m}=0.03kg{m}^{-1}$

Thus velocity of the wave=$\sqrt{\frac{500}{0.03}}=129.1N$
