Since the velocity is increasing uniformly, acceleration is constant and it is equal to the slope of the velocity-time graph.
Here, let us suppose (x1,y1)=(0,0) and (x2,y2)=(4,2)
Acceleration = Slope of velocity- time graph

Hence, acceleration of particle = 0.5ms2
