The displacement in the velocity-time graph is equal to the area under the graph.
From the graph,
The displacement from time t=0sec to t=4sec is
S=12×4×4+2=12m
The displacement from time t=4sec to t=8sec is,
S′′=12×2×4+2=6m
Total displacement , S=S+S′′
