Solution:- (B) 300mL
Let V be the volume of H2SO4 required.
Given:-
MH2SO4=0.1M
MNaOH=2M
VNaOH=30mL
Now, as we know that
N1V1=N2V2
N=n×M
Whereas n is the valence factor
Therefore,
n1M1V1=n2M2V2
For H2SO4;n=2
For NaOH;n=1
Therefore,
2×0.1×V=1×2×30
V=600.2
V=300mL
Hence 300mL of H2SO4 is required to neutralize 30mL of 2MNaOH.
