Given : Volume of the packet V=350cm3
Mass of the packet M=500 g
∴ Density of the packet ρ=MV=500350=1.43gcm−3
As the density of packet is greater than that of water, thus it will sink in water.
Mass of water displaced by the packet is equal to the volume of packet times the density of water
