The volume of a circular iron rod of length 1 m is 3850 cm3. Find its diameter.

Volume=πr2h=3850 cm3
Height = 1 m =100 cm

Now, radius, r=3850π×h=3850×722×100=1.75×7=3.5 cm
∴ Diameter =2(radius) =2×3.5=7 cm
