the remaining liquid in the burette = 50ml

STEP 2. CALCULATIONS:

Let the initial level of liquid = X

amountofliquiddrained=noofdropsdrained×volumeofeachdrop

amountofliquiddrained=30×0.3

amountofliquiddrained=9ml

so from this,

Initialvolumeofliquid=amountofliquiddrained+remainingliquidintheburette

X=9+50

X=59ml
