Given, volume of a particular cube is V=8 cubic inches
We know formula for volume of a cone is:
V=s3, where s is the side of the cube.

8=s3
s=38=2 inches.

We know side of the cube is 2 inches.
Since cube has 6 faces, its formula for the surface area is 6s2
=6×22=6×4=24 inches.

Therefore, Surface area of the cube will be 24 square inches.
Hence, option C is correct.
