Let r cm be the radius of the base of the cylinder.
Volume of the solid cylinder = 1584 cm3
Height of the solid cylinder, h = 14 cm
We have:

227×r2×14 = 1584r2=158444=36r = 6 cm


Total surface area of the cylinder=2πr(r + h ) =2×227×6×(6+14) =44×6×207 =754.29 cm2
