The maximum expiration amount of the air that a person can breathe in after a forced expiration or it is also known as the maximum volume of air a person can breathe out after a forced inspiration.
This air volume is equal to Inspiratory reserve volume + Expiratory reserve volume + Tidal volume, that is IRV + ERV + TV.
