The correct option is D 2.05 L
Volume of oil in container 1 = 8.2 L
It is given that the oil in Container 2 is 1.5 times the volume present in container 1.

∴ The volume of oil in Container 2
= (1.5 × 8.2) L

Multiplying 1.5 × 8.2 by standard method, we observe:


Now, this oil needs to be distributed equally into 6 glasses.

∴ Amount of oil in each glass
= (12.3 ÷ 6) L

Dividing 12.3 ÷ 6 by standard method, we get:


So, each glass contains 2.05 L of oil.
