Solution

The correct option is B 3,047 g
Weight of the watermelon = 2 kg 35 g
Weight of the pumpkin = 1 kg 12 g

We have to find the total weight of the watermelon and the pumpkin in grams.

First of all, we will have to convert kilograms to grams.

We know that,
1 kilogram = 1,000 grams

Hence, we will multiply 2 with 1,000.

So, 2 kg =2×1 kg
=2×1000 g
=2,000 g

Now, let's calculate the weight of the watermelon and the pumpkin in grams.

Now let's add both the weights.

Hence, the total weight of the watermelon and the pumpkin is 3,047 g.
