Use the expression below to calculate the buoyant force.

W=mg...(1)

Here W is the buoyant force acting, m is the weight of water displaced, and g is the acceleration due to gravity = 9.8m/s2

Step 4: Calculation

Substitute the given values in equation (1).

W=10×9.8

W=98N

Hence, the buoyant force acting on the iron object is 98N.
