Solution

The correct option is A 2:1
In CO2 27.27% C and 72.73% of O is present
Weight of oxygen that combines with 1 g of carbon = 72.7327.27=2.67 g
In CS2 15.79% C and 84.03% of S is present
Weight of sulphur that combines with 1 g of carbon =84.2115.79=5.33 g
Ratio of weights of S and O that can combine with same weight of carbon is 5.33:2.67=2:1
