Now, length of rectangle $=2\times$ width

Now perimeter of rectangle $=2$(Length $+$ Width)

$$\begin{gathered} =2(8+16) \\ =2\left(24\right) \\ =48\mathrm{cm} \end{gathered}$$

Hence, perimeter of rectangle is $48\mathrm{cm}$.
