If the width of each of five continuous classes in a frequency distribution is 5 and the lower class limit of the lowest class is 10.
Class width = Upper limit - lower limit
The upper limit of first class = 10 + 5 = 15.
So the class intervals are:
10 - 15
15 - 20
20 - 25
25 - 30
30 - 35
The upper limit of the fifth class is 35.
Or, the upper limit of the fifth class = 15 + 4 x 5 = 35.
