The winds on the Earth do not flow in the straight path from "north to south" or "south to north" directions. Why?

A change in the direction of the wind is caused by the rotation of the Earth. The rotation of the Earth from West to East changes the direction of air to the right (counterclockwise) in the Northern Hemisphere and to the left (clockwise) in the Southern Hemisphere.
