From the first law of thermodynamics
△U=q+w\triangle U=q+wU=q+w

Here, ΔU=0 , since process is isothermal.
q=−wq=-wq=w
w=−100 calw=-100~calw=100 cal

Workdone by the system i.e w= -ve

w=100cal

So work done will be 100 calorie
1 cal=4.184 J
So work done = 100×4.184 J=418.4 J
