(a)1. Reparations was one of the main clause, due to the war, all the nations's economy plunged down and Germany had to pay for all the reparations, it was $33 Billion.
2.Restriction of Germany's army and navy, it was restricted to such an extent that it was non-existent and also that Rhineland was to be completely demilitarized.
3.Alsace-Lorraine was to be returned to France, Saar coal mines could be used by France for 15 years.
(b)Treaty of Versailles is considered to contain the seed of World War 2, the German government signed the treaty under protest, many politicians were assassinated for being responsible for signing the treaty, Germany was humiliated by The Allied Powers, their army was stripped off, their colonies were taken away from them and they had to pay huge amount of reparations, this all led to World War 2.
