Solution

The world’s first cricket club was formed in Hambledon in the 1760s. The popular Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) came up later in 1787. The matches in the 18th century were conducted by this club. Thomas land was the man who used to organise matches in the villages. The origin of the club, was based near Hambledon in rural Hampshire, which is still unclear but it was certainly founded by 1768.
