Step 1: Finding the broken eggs equivalent to 15%.

Total eggs in tray =160

Percentage of broken eggs =15%

Therefore, the number of broken eggs is,

15%of16015100×160=15×16010015×1610=24010=24

Thus, the number of broken eggs is 24.

Step 2: Finding the number of good eggs in the tray.

Out of total 160eggs, 24eggs are broken.

Therefore, the rest will be good eggs, i.e.,

160-24=136

Hence, the number of good eggs in the tray is 136.
