The correct option is B 12:5
Total number of students in the school = 1800
Number of students who chose basketball = 750
The ratio of the total number of students to the number of students who chose basketball
= $\frac{T o t a l N o . o f s t u d e n t s}{N o . o f s t u d e n t s w h o c h o s e b a s k e t b a l l}$
= $\frac{1800}{750}$
= $\frac{36}{15} = \frac{12}{5}$
Therefore, the required ratio is 12:5
