Getting a prize, if there are three prizes per class $I,II$ and $III$ ?

No. of schools$=\frac{24}{3}=8$

Now, i)Probability$=\frac{{}^8{C}_1}{8\times 8\times 8}=\frac{1}{64}$

ii)Probability$=\frac{{}^3{C}_1}{{}^8{C}_1{\times }^3{C}_1}=\frac{1}{8}$
