In Allium, number of stamen in each flower is 6 and each stamen is bilobed. Each lobe consists of 60 pollen grains. Thus, each stamen consists of 60 x 2 = 120 pollen grains. Thus, each flower consists of 120 x 6 = 720 pollen grains and therefore, 25 flowers contain 720 x 25 = 18,000 pollen grains.
